Append Northbeam UTMs
About UTMs
What is a UTM?
UTM stands for the "Urchin Tracking Module". Urchin was a web analytics software, acquired by Google in 2005 to create Google Analytics. UTM parameters are added to a URL to track web traffic stemming from a specific source (social ad, email, display ad, etc.)
Why do I need to configure UTMs?
Northbeam uses UTMs to link your metrics to specific ads, building detailed customer journeys.
Please Note:
Northbeam UTMs are required for active ads on integrated platforms to ensure accurate spend mapping and attribution. Attribution tracking won’t be available until Northbeam UTMs are added to your active ads on these platforms.
