About UTMs
What is a UTM?
UTM stands for the "Urchin Tracking Module". Urchin was a web analytics software, acquired by Google in 2005 to create Google Analytics. UTM parameters are added to a URL to track web traffic stemming from a specific source (social ad, email, display ad, etc.)
Why do I need to configure UTMs?
Northbeam uses UTMs to attribute your metrics to specific ads and create detailed customer journeys.
