Connect Northbeam to Your AI Assistant

Northbeam MCP lets an AI assistant like ChatGPT or Claude read your Northbeam data, so you can ask questions in plain language and get answers from your own dashboards.

Northbeam MCP lets an AI assistant like ChatGPT or Claude read your Northbeam data, so you can ask questions in plain language and get answers from your own dashboards.

ℹ️

Northbeam MCP is available to Pro and Enterprise customers.

Choose your assistant

  • ChatGPT — requires a paid ChatGPT plan (Pro, Team, Enterprise, or EDU).
  • Claude — works with Claude on the web, Claude Desktop, and Claude Code, on any Claude plan.
  • Another AI tool — any assistant that supports custom connectors.

Each guide takes a few minutes. You will sign in with your normal Northbeam login — there is no separate account to create and no API key to manage.

What you can ask

Once connected, your assistant can pull live data from your Northbeam dashboards. For example:

  1. What was my Meta ROAS last week vs the prior week?
  2. Break down spend and revenue by platform for the last 30 days.
  3. Show me my top 10 orders by revenue this month.
  4. List my Northbeam dashboards.

If you have access to more than one dashboard, tell the assistant which one to use so it queries the right account.

What it can and cannot do

The connection is read-only. Your assistant can query and summarize your Northbeam data, but it cannot change anything in Northbeam.

It also follows your existing permissions. If you cannot see something in Northbeam, your assistant cannot see it through MCP either.

Questions about security and privacy

See the Northbeam MCP Server FAQs for how MCP works, what data is sent to your AI provider, and how that provider handles it.
