An export only matches the dashboard when both requests use the same settings and data state.

1. Identify the export

Record whether you are comparing a:
  • One-time CSV export
  • Scheduled export
  • Google Cloud Storage export
  • Data Export API response
Also record when the export was generated.

2. Match every setting

Confirm that the export and dashboard use the same:
  • Account
  • Date range and timezone
  • Metrics
  • Attribution model and window
  • Accounting mode
  • Filters and breakdown level
  • Granularity, such as daily, weekly, or monthly
For the Data Export API, compare the request parameters directly with the dashboard settings.

3. Compare the same data state

Recent data can change as new orders, spend, and attribution inputs are processed. Regenerate the export before comparing it with the current dashboard.

4. Check export-specific options

Options such as aggregated data, zero-value row removal, chart values versus table values, and included breakdowns can change the result. Review Exporting Data for the available export methods and settings. You can also open Sales, Documents, or Manage Exports. If the discrepancy remains, provide Support with the export file, generation time, request parameters, dashboard URL, and screenshots of both totals.
