Clicks + Deterministic Views layers verified impression data on top of your click tracking. Every view tied to a conversion is proven using an exact identifier — not modeled or inferred — so you can see where TradeDesk’s impression-heavy placements are actually influencing purchases.
REDS is required for C+DV. If you set up TradeDesk using the scheduled report path, you’ll need to upgrade before you can enable C+DV. Ask your TradeDesk account manager for Northbeam Curated REDS, then follow Path 1.

Before you enable

Your order_id must match across both platforms. The order_id your site sends to TradeDesk via their pixel must be an exact string match for the order_id sent to Northbeam. If the values differ, Northbeam can’t link TradeDesk impressions to conversions and C+DV will report no view credit.Spot-check a few recent orders before you turn C+DV on.
Also confirm that your standard integration is complete on the REDS path, and that TradeDesk spend and click data are already visible in your dashboard.

Turn on C+DV

1

Go to Model Settings

Go to Account Settings → Model Settings → Attribution Models, then find the Clicks + Deterministic Views section.
2

Select TradeDesk

Check the box for TradeDesk in the list of available platforms and save your changes.
Selecting a platform consents to sharing that platform’s impression data with Northbeam, so only account admins can change this setting.
3

Wait for processing

Allow 24–48 hours for Northbeam to ingest your impression data, match it to your orders, and publish the results. Once C+DV is active, the data refreshes 3× per day.
4

Validate the data

  • Switch your attribution model to Clicks + Deterministic Views
  • Confirm TradeDesk campaigns show view-attributed conversions alongside click-attributed ones
  • Compare C+DV against Clicks-Only to see where view credit is unlocking value
  • Check that there’s no data-quality banner at the top of your dashboard
C+DV adds view credit on the same click-supported channels — Display, Video, Native Display, and Native Video.
For how credit is divided between clicks and views, see Clicks + Deterministic Views.
