Tracking for Reddit Ads

Connect Reddit Ads to Northbeam and configure click-based attribution tracking. Once the Reddit Ads account is connected and the required Northbeam tracking parameter is added to each ad, Northbeam can receive:

Spend data from Reddit Ads
Platform-reported click data from Reddit Ads
Campaign, ad group, and ad identifiers used for reconciliation and attribution

Reddit Ads currently supports the following Northbeam attribution models:

Clicks Only
Last Click
First Click
Linear

Clicks + Modeled Views and Clicks + Deterministic Views are not currently supported for Reddit Ads attribution.

Input	Output	If the input is missing
Reddit Ads account connection	Northbeam can pull Reddit Ads spend and platform-reported click data.	Reddit Ads data will not appear in Northbeam.
Northbeam tracking parameter on each ad	Northbeam can reconcile visits to the correct campaign, ad group, and ad.	Visits and attributed results may be missing or assigned incorrectly.

Before you start

Make sure you have:

Access to the correct Reddit Ads account
Permission to authorize the Reddit Ads connection in Northbeam
Permission to edit ads and destination URLs in Reddit Ads Manager
Access to the correct Northbeam dashboard

Reddit warns that editing an existing ad’s creative may reset its votes, comments, and awards. Review the warning in Reddit Ads Manager before saving changes to a live ad. When possible, add the tracking parameter before launching the ad.
