In TradeDesk, append the Northbeam click UTM parameters to your campaign click-through URLs. These parameters are what let the Northbeam pixel tie a click back to a specific TradeDesk campaign, ad group, and creative. You’ll find your UTM string in Northbeam under Settings → Connections → TradeDesk.

Step-by-step guide

Your UTM must start with & or ?.
  • If the URL already has parameters, use &:
    yoursite.com?existing=param&nb_platform=tradedesk…
  • If the URL has no parameters, use ?:
    yoursite.com?nb_platform=tradedesk…
Apply UTMs to all active campaigns. Campaigns without UTMs won’t receive click attribution.
