Reddit Ads: Insert the UTMs

Step 2: Add the Northbeam tracking parameter

The Northbeam tracking parameter must be added to the Destination URL for every Reddit ad. Use the following parameter:

?nbt=nb:reddit_ads:reddit_ads:{{CAMPAIGN_ID}}:{{ADGROUP_ID}}:{{AD_ID}}

Reddit automatically replaces the template values with the campaign, ad group, and ad identifiers when the ad is served.

Add the parameter to every individual ad. Adding it only at the campaign or ad group level does not meet the Reddit Ads tracking requirement.

If the destination URL does not already contain query parameters, add ? before the Northbeam parameter:

https://www.example.com/product?nbt=nb:reddit_ads:reddit_ads:{{CAMPAIGN_ID}}:{{ADGROUP_ID}}:{{AD_ID}}

If the destination URL already contains a ? and other query parameters, add the Northbeam parameter using &:

https://www.example.com/product?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=paid&nbt=nb:reddit_ads:reddit_ads:{{CAMPAIGN_ID}}:{{ADGROUP_ID}}:{{AD_ID}}

Missing colons, underscores, braces, or identifiers can prevent Northbeam from reconciling visits correctly.
