# X Ads: Insert the UTMs

## Step 2: Insert Northbeam UTM Parameters

<Warning>
  Hardcoded UTM Values

  X doesn't support dynamic UTM values. Your campaign/adset/ad names need to be **hardcoded** into utm\_campaign, utm\_term, and utm\_content within your URLs.

  For your convenience, use our X UTM Builder below.
</Warning>

Make a copy of our [Twitter UTM Builder](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ffIP4w0wMRI2Kh0DykrTRryTXsubz4v2Tan5H83ZOeM/edit) and video instructions.

Please add the following UTMs to the end of your **Destination URLs for all new ads.**

*(Note: Published ads cannot be edited. Our UTMs can only be placed on new, unpublished ads. Please duplicate your ads to insert our UTMs.)*

* utm\_source=twitter
* utm\_medium=paid
* utm\_campaign=**\[campaign\_name]**
* utm\_term=**\[adgroup\_name]**
* utm\_content=**\[ad\_name]**

**\*\*placeholders**
