# Vibe.co Setup

> Connect Vibe.co with an API key and turn on Clicks + Deterministic Views so Northbeam can credit your Vibe.co impressions.

When you're done, Northbeam shows your Vibe.co spend and uses Vibe.co impressions to give view credit under **Clicks + Deterministic Views (C+DV)**.

  **Before you start**, make sure you have:

  * A **Vibe.co account** login so you can generate an API key
  * At least one **live Vibe.co campaign** on that account
  * Access to [Connections](https://dashboard.northbeam.io/settings/connections) and **Model Settings** in Northbeam

  <Step title="Connect your Vibe.co account">

    **First, make sure a campaign is live.** The Vibe.co API key must belong to an account with an active Vibe campaign. You can't turn on the integration until a campaign is live. To check, call the Vibe.co API endpoint `/get_advertiser_ids`. It returns an advertiser ID only after a campaign is active, usually within 30 minutes of launch.

    Then connect:

    1. Log in to your **Vibe.co account**.
    2. Generate your **API Key**. See Vibe.co's [API reporting guide](https://help.vibe.co/en/articles/8943325-vibe-api-reporting).
    3. In Northbeam, open [Connections](https://dashboard.northbeam.io/settings/connections) and select **Vibe.co**.
    4. Paste your **API key** and click **Connect**.

    **If you skip this step:** Northbeam doesn't get your Vibe.co spend or the impressions it needs for C+DV matching.

  <Step title="Turn on Clicks + Deterministic Views">

    Once your Vibe.co connection is active in Northbeam:

    1. Go to **Settings → Model Settings → Attribution Models**.
    2. Select **Clicks + Deterministic Views (C+DV)**.
    3. Under **Available Platforms**, check the box for **Vibe.co**.
    4. Click **Save Changes**.
    5. Allow up to 48 hours for Vibe.co impression data to show up in your dashboard.

    Once the connection is live:

    * **Connection syncing:** follow [Checking platform connections](/docs/checking-api-connections) to confirm the account shows as connected and data is arriving.
