# MNTN: Confirm tracking

## Step 5: Verify Order ID Alignment

MNTN uses **order IDs** for deterministic matching. To confirm setup:

1. In Northbeam, go to **Orders → Order ID** and note your order ID format (e.g., Shopify order numbers).
2. In MNTN, ensure the **same order ID format** is being passed to Northbeam.
   * Mismatched order IDs will prevent deterministic matching and CDV visibility.
3. If misaligned, update your MNTN setup or contact Support to adjust configuration.

Once the connection is live and UTMs are on your ads, confirm data is
flowing:

* **UTMs captured** — follow [Checking UTM tracking](/docs/checking-utm-tracking)
  to confirm Northbeam parameters are present on your landing pages.
* **Connection syncing** — follow
  [Checking platform connections](/docs/checking-api-connections) to confirm
  the account shows connected and data is arriving.
