# Keynes Setup

> Connect Keynes with AWS credentials so Northbeam imports your Keynes spend and campaign reporting.

When you're done, Northbeam shows your Keynes spend and campaign-level reporting data. Keynes is a CTV platform, so this integration is **spend-only**: it doesn't support click attribution, UTMs, or revenue attribution.

  **Before you start**, make sure you have these Keynes AWS credentials (ask your Keynes representative for them):

  * **AWS Access Key ID**
  * **AWS Secret Access Key**

    Northbeam connects to Keynes with AWS credentials from the Keynes team.

    1. Ask your Keynes representative for your **AWS Access Key ID** and **AWS Secret Access Key**.
    2. Open [Connections](https://dashboard.northbeam.io/settings/connections) and select **Keynes**. If you're still in onboarding, go to **Integrations > Keynes** instead.
    3. Paste your **AWS Access Key ID** and **AWS Secret Access Key**, then click **Connect**.

    Once the connection works, your Keynes accounts appear on the Connections page.

      **Historical spend backfill:** once connected, Northbeam automatically backfills up to 3 years of historical Keynes spend.

    **If you skip this step:** Keynes spend and campaign reporting data don't appear in Northbeam.

    Keynes is spend-only, so there are no UTMs to check. Follow [Checking platform connections](/docs/checking-api-connections) to confirm the account shows as connected and spend is arriving.
