# AppLovin Setup
> Connect AppLovin with your Report API Key and Account ID, then select Northbeam as the measurement partner so spend and revenue line up.
When you're done, Northbeam shows your AppLovin spend, impressions, visits, and attributed revenue on the same campaigns, ad sets, and ads, alongside your other channels.
**Before you start**, make sure you have:
* The AppLovin **master user account** login (sub-user accounts won't work)
* Access to edit your AppLovin campaigns and creative sets
Copy your Report API Key and Account ID into Northbeam.
Select Northbeam as the measurement partner on your campaigns.
Check that parameters and spend are reaching Northbeam.
**Copy your Report API Key**
1. Log in to **AppLovin** with your **master user account**. Sub-user accounts won't work.
2. Open the top-right menu → **Keys**.
3. Copy the **Report Key**. This is your API Reporting Key.
**Find your Account ID**
1. Still logged in with the master user account, open the top-right menu → **Other Settings**.
2. Copy your **Account ID**.
**Add your credentials in Northbeam**
1. Open [Connections](https://dashboard.northbeam.io/settings/connections) in your Northbeam dashboard.
2. Find the **AppLovin** section.
3. Enter your **Account ID** and **Report API Key**.
**If you skip this step:** campaign, ad set, and ad names are missing, along with spend, impressions, and AppLovin-reported metrics.
**On every campaign**
1. Click **Edit Campaign**, then **Objective**.
2. Scroll down to **Tracking Parameters** and click **Edit**.
3. Under **Measurement Partner Parameters**, select **Northbeam**.
4. Click **Confirm**.
**On creatives set to "Use another URL"**
You only need this if a creative's Destination URL is set to **"Use another URL"**. Those creatives have their own URL and UTMs and don't inherit the campaign-level Northbeam UTMs, so add Northbeam at the creative level too:
1. Open the **Creative Set Settings**.
2. Scroll to **Tracking Parameters** and click **Edit**.
3. Under **Measurement Partner Parameters**, select **Northbeam**.
4. Click **Confirm**.
**If you skip this step:** Northbeam can't tie visits and orders to your AppLovin ads, so spend and revenue show up on separate lines.
Data usually shows up after the next data refresh, typically within 24 hours of connecting. If it's still missing, check that the Report API Key and Account ID were entered correctly.

* **Parameters captured:** follow [Checking UTM tracking](/docs/checking-utm-tracking) to confirm the Northbeam parameters reach your landing pages.
* **Connection syncing:** follow [Checking platform connections](/docs/checking-api-connections) to confirm the account shows as connected and data is arriving.

## Remove custom spend (optional)
If you used to upload AppLovin spend through a custom spend sheet or API, adjust or remove those entries so spend isn't counted twice now that the integration pulls it in.
1. **Find the source.** Review your custom spend sheet or API setup (see [Add spend](/docs/add-spend)).
2. **Check for overlap** with the spend the AppLovin integration now pulls in.
3. **Adjust if needed.** If there's overlap, adjust or remove the overlapping entries. If there's no overlap, leave them as they are.
Duplicate spend entries can cause incorrect reporting and data discrepancies in Northbeam.
